My name is Matthew Spofforth, and I am a qualified French and German to English translator that is committed to helping you break new ground in the UK and US markets.
I founded Spofforth Translation Services in 2014 to build on what I learnt in the BPO sector, which allowed me to combine a passion for IT and Innovation in engineering, with my strong linguistic background.

2014 to 2016 German Speaking Customer Service Rep- Bosch Power Tools
- Taking German calls from German DIY enthusiasts, building professionals and distributors relating to the Bosch Power Tool range
- Forwarding calls to the repair, ordering and expert departments where appropriate
- Sending emails to the relevant departments in German, in the event of a busy line
- Maintaining Data Protection Protocol at all times
- Undertook a week’s training at the Bosch Power Tools worldwide HQ in Leinfelden, Stuttgart
- In November 2014, the Bosch Power Tools team was awarded the ‘Gold Standard’ for customer service, ranging in 90th place overall in a survey of over 1500 businesses, and winning the Power Tools category, meaning that we are amongst the best in Europe – link

- Resolving callers’ prepayment queries using SAP and ISU
- Informing customers of any discounts they may be eligible for
